adjust - a c program for formatting paragraphs - very useful with vim.
capsind - a caps lock indicator X widget. Displays "nocap" or "CAPS" I use it in my fvwm button bar, but it should work with any window manager.
mved - perl script for moving a group of files specified by a pattern to a different pattern.

deb/ical - my favorite calander program.
version 2.2-6 is from potato and works on woody
version 2.2-29 was made with alien from ical-2.2-28mdk.i586.rpm and works on sarge. Requires tk8.4-dev package, but apt won't install it automatically.
deb/xv - a very cool graphics viewing, editing, and window grabbing program.
deb/hsclock - a multi-zone gtk clock. (It can also optionally run in a tty.) Created with alien from the rpm on the hsclock homepage: http://www.haskell.org/~petersen/haskell/hsclock/. Requires Debian sarge.

antiword - a damn fast msword to text converter. I made the RPM on a RedHat 7.2 system - it still works on RedHat Enterprise 4. antiword homepage: http://www.winfield.demon.nl/index.html

rpms/netmask - does IP address range conversions: aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa:bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb <-> ccc.ccc.ccc.ccc/dd. rpm created from a deb package with alien - seems to work with RH 6.2-9
